Green Frog’s Advantages
Taking care of your Health
– On-site scalability on 100 acres of land.
– Efficient cost of production, using renewable energy.
– Unique patient acquisition model.
The marijuana industry in Canada is currently in it’s infancy. With the proposed legalization of medical marijuana slated for later this year, demand for product will increase exponentially over the next years. It is Green Frog’s strategy to be able to grow production capacity on one single site. For example, less than 25% of the available land is needed to expand the greenhouse to 1,000,000 sq ft.
Canada will be the first industrialized nation in the world to fully legalize marijuana for both medical and recreational use. However, many countries are currently legalizing medical marijuana. These counties will be seeking supply from legal sources. As world export demand increases, we will actively seek export outlets throughout the world. To be able to grow production capacity for export markets, as well as domestic markets, is part of our corporate strategy for growth.
Cost of Production
The cost of production is critical for future competitiveness as the market matures. As such, Green Frog will use a greenhouse model to use the sun’s energy, as it is free. Renewable energy will also be implemented to make production more efficient. According to statistics, the current cost of production for Licensed Producers is between $3-$4 per gram. Our goal is to strive toward a zero carbon footprint facility. In this way, the projected cost of production is anticipated to be sub $1 per gram.
Unique Patient Acquisition Model
With legalization for recreational use looming in Canada, GreenFrog will focus on direct sales to patients, as well as scaling-up production to supplying wholesale markets. GreenFrog is working with a sister company that has a strategy of making it easier to get a prescription for patients who qualify. This will be achieved by a web-based platform and satellite consultation centers. We are working with a group of physicians, that are experts on medical marijuana, to be able to provide prescriptions nationwide, via the internet.
